Our good friends Helen and John have been to see Maria and I twice since living here in Alicante. John suggested that my images have a very particular documentary film quality to them. We taked about publishing a book of these pictures as John and Helen are both prolific drawers and document their lives through drawing. During their visit we spent much time talking and eating and enjoying wine, the beach and the sunshine.
